Before you build

Do I need any special tools or experience?
No. Every build uses basic hand tools — a screwdriver, a hot glue gun, a utility knife. If you've assembled flat-pack furniture, you can follow these plans.
Which build should I start with?
It depends on your climate — coastal or foggy areas favor the mesh harvester, dry and sunny favors the desiccant still, and warm and humid favors the Peltier build. The guide includes a comparison table to help you choose.
Is the water actually safe to drink?
Condensed atmospheric water is naturally close to distilled, but every guide includes a maintenance section covering basic filtration and cleaning steps before drinking, same as you'd use for any collected water.
